The ‘Valencia CF Innovation Hub’ continues its growth, reaching an agreement with Solver Intelligent Analytics to become the club's Innovation Partner in Artificial Intelligence. The collaboration with Valencian startup, founded in 2016, forms part of an expansion strategy on both a national and international level. Solver IA will contribute to making businesses more efficient thanks to predictive data modelling, using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools.
The agreement is the second time that the two parties have worked together, and another step forward for the club in its commitment to applying innovation to a world as traditional as football. With the aim of helping and improving the lives of fans, through predictive models for attendance at Mestalla once LaLiga and health authorities allow stadiums to reopen their doors, more information will be obtained through which to take optimal strategic decisions, adapted to all scenarios in the best way possible to improve the experience.
Anil Murthy, Valencia CF president: "I'm very satisfied and happy with the signing of this agreement with Solver Intelligence Analytics. It's a company that has been growing in recent years, in the field of something called 'predictive analytics. It's part of the VCF Innovation Hub project that we have here in Valencia.
It's going to help us to get to know our fans better. If somebody who has a 100% attendance rate decides not to come to a game, the club should know if there is a problem, in order to attend to each of our fans personally.
As part of the innovation project, we are going to continue looking for companies and new startups who want to work and collaborate with us, with this concept of modernisation and getting to know every fan. As a big club in Spain, we want to work with many young startups here in Valencia who are creating jobs. I'm very satisfied."
Pablo Negre, Solver IA Director General: "It's a huge opportunity for Solver, associating with a brand like Valencia CF, with the impact they have and the reach that they have in different markets on both a national and international scale. It's a challenge to be able to develop this advanced intelligence model in a traditional sector like sport -which is going through a digital transformation, with an immense fanbase. It represents the possibility of applying these methodologies to contribute to reaching targets that Valencia CF have.
What we want to do is incorporate the latest trends and models at Valencia CF, which allow us to predict future behaviours so that people at the club can make decisions with greater precision."
